Playing Calendar

Learn about the Upstate Pickleball playing culture.

Our Playing Calendar lists the locations, days and times people are playing pickleball in the area. Every location listed on our calendar is “Open Play” which means just show up, be social with other players and you’ll get in some games. Balls and loaner paddles may be available for players at some of these listings, but don’t expect it.

Read below (and scroll) to learn when and where we play. We’ll see you on the court.

CURRENT PLAYING CALENDAR

NOTE: Recreation centers are usually closed on major holidays (and during inclement weather). Outdoor public courts are open for play (weather permitting). And if it’s colder than 50 degrees, then many players will likely choose not to play outdoors.

GROUP CLINICS

John Moore & Sandy Halkett have taught scores of people in the Upstate area how to play pickleball. They have monthly indoor clinics for absolute beginners to intermediate players.

Why wait to start playing? Why wait to get better? Let’s go!!!!!

Adaptive Pickleball
enhaces the lives of people with diverse-abilities.

Adaptive Pickleball (501c3 nonprofit) teaches people with diverse-abilities (physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges) how to play pickleball.

APB regularly hosts free Pickleball Play Days for adaptive players of all ages. For many, these playing sessions provide recreational therapy. For more athletic players, these sessions feed one’s competitive spirit.

Upstate Pickleball is a massive supporter of Adaptive Pickleball.
